Anyone fished off the company warf before?

Did it on Thursday... I'm her boss... But she just blurted out how much she liked me... and me having a few drinks in me went for it... Not sure if it's a good thing or not... I have more positive feelings about it than negative... so that's a good thing I guess....

Seeing her again tomorrow...

    I see no problem with getting involved with a co-worker, if you're willing to let those two worlds interact.

    However, when you're her boss or you work under the same suboordinate, that might make it tricky. But certainly don't take my word for it...

    I've not, but know poeple that have. Some resulted in marriage, some resulted in break ups, one resulted in marriage, followed by divorce all while working together.


    However, none were boss/subordinate relationships. Imo, that is just asking for trouble. I would advise cutting it off asap. Too many issues there, imo.

    There's another little twist... In about 5 weeks she is volunteering for 5 months to teach in the sub-continent.

    So there's a few things at work here... At this stage, I don't really want to get into anything for 5 weeks if she wants to stay 'together' for the 5 months... Then when the year ends, I'll leave cause I finish my teaching degree at uni... And she is likely to leave...

    I don't know... she is REALLY into me... more than I am her (sounds slack I know), but we'll see...

    And rest assure, I'll let you all know when it blows up... haha...

    The plus side is, she likes the pearl jam posters hanging up in my bedroom :)

    If it is the latter, be careful about workplace relationships.
    I do not know what your occupation is. If it is a job that you can afford to lose, go for it.
    If it is a career that is important , I would not get involved.
    Be careful about being accused of favouritism if you show her extra regard.
    If the romance sours, you could be accused of manipulation and/or sexual harassment.
    Is she smoking hot ?
    If the answer is yes and I was in your shoes ....
    I would go for some elevator sex. :clap:

    When she came out and said how much she liked me, I told her how difficult it is... bla bla... we talked about it for ages before we did anything...
