A back injury would indicate otherwise. Unfortunately, more postponements and/or forced cancellations are probably more likely. :( for my friends across the pond. Back injuries are debilitating. Without fully knowing the extent, nobody can know the ramifications. I'm sure he postponed postponing his dates as long as he could bc he's a good person and wanted to do right by us fans. But in the end, at the very least booking questionable dates is not in the cards. To me, it puts AV in jeopardy, as he will need to leave that open for the PJ Europe dates if necessary (if he's even healthy enough to play by then).

No real silver lining, but if selfishly there is, the new album may have just gotten expedited. Get well, Eddie. While I feel bad for our European fans, I'd rather have him upright for anther 40 years (for his own well being) than risk further damage for 1 tour.

Kind of puts things into perspective.

    Exactly.

And to add, each solo show is a feat on itself, and incredibly impressive he goes almost completely solo for that length of time on a tour.

October is a tough Month to schedule arena shows.. Hockey and Basketball take up most of the room..

I completely agree. Ed - if you need someone to play guitar for you, september looks good for me.

At least in October the dates are set in stone. PJ had trouble booking the 2010 tour in May because of arenas that had potential playoff games looming and were unable to commit to back-to-back nights.

    Freakin' TBD, freakin' Newark!

How can they even think of announcing that if they don't know when Eddie will be well? And at what point do they have to simply bag the idea? Can't even think of it until they are 1000 (yes. 3 0's)% sure.

Now, they still have a couple months, but it's anyone's guess at this point despite knowing(?) it was planned.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

That's the weekend of Chick-fil-a kickoff in football and the DragonCon convention. That would be nuts.
