Lovely man and a legend of modern music as relevant as any of the greats. Marshall has been my amp of choice for 25 years and I had the pleasure of meeting the man at a convention several years ago. He seemed very down to earth and humble for such a successful entrepreneur. His legacy will live forever. RIP Jim.... :(

    RIP Jim.

    thanks for everything.

as with the above poster, i have played vintage marshalls exclusively for the last 8 years, and between my other guitar player and myself we have an example of every marshall head from the early and mid 70s jmps, early and mid 80s jcm 800s, and very early jcm 900s, and even a silver jubilee...

i could not imagine what my guitar tone would sound like without my marshalls.

if anyone is interested you can click my link and see my pair of '74 jmps...they are my profile pic
