Don't worry. At the rate (original) GnR is going, trash-talking each other in the press, none of them will be there anyway. And if any of them DO happen to show up, the main event will be the wagers over whether or not they come to blows before the thing is over.

That's the stupidist thing I've heard in a while!

I will walk w/my hands bound
I will walk w/my face blood
I will walk w/my shadow flag

Memories back when she was smooth and strong
and waiting for the world to come along...

For as much as I liked this band for a few years in the 80's, they are hardly deserving of the Hall of Fame.
Axl has shown up late, or not at all for so many shows, that the Hall of Shame seems more of a fit.

They were a top 3 biggest band in the world for the better part of a decade, and put out 3 of the greatest albums and a great double ep. On top of that they had one of the most recognizable voices and figures in rock fronting the band and the most recognizable guitar player in the world, to this day. What's undeserving about that?

Just my opinion. Maybe it's because the frontman is such an a-hole. At least Slash had enough sense to get away from all the bullshit.

I caught the Velvet Revolver/AIC tour. Really good show.

And they had the most recognizable guitar player in the world because of his gimmick. What's undeserving about that?

fixed that for ya mate. cheers.

If a frontman hasn't been accused of this at some point, they're probably not being considered for a rock n' roll Hall of Fame.

    & both frontmen are tools.

I love the old Green Day but Billie Joe gets on my nerves. His live antics shit me.

It makes no sense but the Hall of Fame is a joke anyway. I wish it didn't mean so much to Pearl Jam. How is this different from the Grammy Awards which mean nothing as well.

It's just some music association's opinion that is all, nothing more nothing less.
I would not attend any of these award functions.

I wonder who they will induct since Axl quite respectfully declined. Yes he is an a-hole at times but this was absolutely the right decision. So cool so rock n' roll really. I hope more people have the guts to do the same as it really is a joke.
