Hard to pick just one from so many artists but I'd probably go with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds to play O' Malley's Bar. Absolutely inspired 14 minutes with deliciously sick lyrics...

Nice. I've already heard my holy grail song live, from the front row (favorite song of all time Life on Mars? by David Bowie) but I would like to hear 'Jennifer's Veil' or 'The Moon is in the Gutter' sung by Nick Cave in any form, bad seeds/birthday party/solo/whatev.

I love Jennifer's Veil too. I think that song must have spawned Marilyn Manson's entire career...

    This is also very awesome...

Wow. It's nice that he does bust out some Birthday Party every once in a while. I think he played Hard On For Love when I saw him, but I honestly would have preferred something else, not that I should be complaining ;)

I'd heard mine also, took 34 shows. I hadnt heard the black crowes play "cursed diamond". Seen them play it in Kansas city, had great seats on a couch stage right in the balcony. It was the opener, I proceeded to get tipsy after that. It was a good night.

hmmm Good question. I've been fortunate to see alot of bands. I wish I had gotten to see Radiohead play Karma Police. The show was still epic though.

Not going to post a video, but if you haven't seen it search for it or just go buy the concert film.

Van Morrison & The Band, "Caravan" from The Last Waltz.

The version that they performed live that night is incredible.

Neil Young - Expecting To Fly

He played it at Bridge School Benefit in 1998 (first time since February 1971). I attended BSB in 1997, missed it in 1998, and have been there every year from 1999 through 2011. He played it at some shows on his solo tour in 1999 but not when I saw him on that tour.
