Anyone read the article? Maybe one day he and Eddie could have a chat as they seem to have a few things in common.

    I just puked.

The greatest difference is that one is timeless and one will be very dated in a couple of years. I'll let you guess who's who.

Never heard of the guy until this post. Made it through about 40 seconds of a song. Definitely not my cup of tea but to each their own, I guess. God, I am getting old.
I liked him better when he played Teddie Duchamp in 'Stand by Me'

You are so 2000-and-late and must not understand the subtlety of dubstep vs. electronica.

    Electronica goes thump-thump-beep-beep-thump
    Dubstep goes thump-thump-beep-beep-thump

the more I listen to dubstep the more I realize how stupid it is.

Its only a matter of time when everyone else will realize this.

    Conversations getting dull
There's a constant ringing in my ears
Sense of humor's void and numb
    And I'm bored to tears.......
  • Sorry to be negative but Skrillex is so bad.
He took a credible muscial genre from about 10 years back that was born in dirty dives in London/Bristol and turned it into a neon/americanised/bastardised version.

He is to dubstep what My Chemical Romance are to emo. I remember when emo wasn't a dirty word either and you could legit say you liked it and reference cap n' jazz and Indian Summer and not have people laugh.

LOVE me some Skrillex, I can't stop listening to him either. He did a song with Jonathon Davis that's been getting a tons of airplay around here. He's also headlining a Soldier Field show this spring.
It may not be you're thing, but there's a shit ton of people who dig it.

For one there are similarities with being lied to about who their parents are and how it has affected them. There's a few other personality traits that I find interesting and similar between the two.

EXACTLY! that is how pearl jam got started too, by copying the who and what not.

Beatles,Stones, Clapton,Traffic...... all copy American Blues and R&B artists. Can you name better bands than that? The Americans sometimes come up with the good stuff.
    ~!~ Peace ~!~ Love ~!~ Pearl Jam ~!~
  • do people actually reckon skrillex is corey feldman? hahahaha

pearl jam are my favorite band of all time and my other favorites are from the same era, but i am also growing a massive love for dubstep these days ,i think its a youth thing and that dubstep belongs to the youth underground music these days, sort of how grunge became the new wave of music in the early 90's
