Sprouts in Spring

justam

out of the dark brown ground
under toes too
colored pencils for the paper
bright chalk for the sidewalk
gooey paint for the fingers
mediums of lightness
love to use 'em
these attempts at something
these attempts at anything
translation and cracks 'n layers
there's a leak in there!
(for we feel the stream of air)
but back to the representations we like
so much, so light
the mood when we're dropping words
a few
here and back
walking on a cloud
there's so much color in sound
around
