  • It's not a boot, but that performance was perfect. Ed's vocals were out of this world....

Maybe not an official 10club bootleg... but Oh it has been booted for sure cause I have it on my ipod and I listen to it daily.

Do you happen to have a link to where I can download that performance? I already have "The Real Me" from there, but havent really looked for LROM

I've only heard the Roo versions and I wouldn't reccommend it because there's a big train wreck before the first chrous.

I am crossing Roo off the list of potential winners as well..

    You are correct..

the timing was all screwed up before the first chorus..

So its down to Camden vs. MSG vs. Mansfield..

anybody listen to all three lately (no homer bias please!)

Camden 2 vs. MSG 1 vs. Mansfield 1..

I addressed each boot with the same criteria:

    - quality of the performance
    - Ed's vocals
    - Mike's solo recreating PT's version

    The results....

    Not even close:

Mansfield 1 is the best version of this Tour..

Camden 2 is just all over the place, seems the band was still learing this song and the quality of the vocals, band timing and Mike's solo iare subpar compared to the Mansfield performance...

MSG 1 = I can't understand anyone putting this in contention as ED screws up the lyrics from the opening verse, and Mike's solo is strained to match Townsend's note for note...

Don't beleive me.. Listen to the Mansfield 1 boot itself...

The band (Ed's vocals. Mike's solo etc.) is hitting on all cylinders, tempo is just right.. and Matt's drumming is the closest to Moon's original frantic smashes as any cover version can attempt...

    Thank you and good night!

I took a pee break before Reign oer me at Mansfield 1, but in the bathroom it sounded the balls.

PS I got the bootleg and it sounded better than in the bathroom.
