    Really? Maybe they're just more hardass here in Texas. But I've been cuffed when they were just doing a search of my car. They cuffed me and put me in the back of the squad car "for their protection", then when they found nothing uncuffed me and let me go on my way. And when you get arrested, you sure as hell get cuffed. And if you're as drunk as that dude they'd likely cuff your hands behind your back to keep you from pounding on the glass and shit.

    I think he's simply going to the drunk tank. I know lots of people who gone there, and none of them were cuffed. They only bother when they think the person is going to be violent. Obviously, when they picked him up he gave them reason to know he wasn't that kind of drunk. Plus, he told them that "physical violence is the least of my priorities", lol! Anyway, most RCMP officers are pretty chill if you're chill with them.... I never got hand cuffed when I was arrested by the RCMP, either. :oops: ... isn't it about time they legalized that stuff?? It's been 18 years and I'm still paranoid! :lol:
