Stone Roses Manchester Support Acts

Anyone going to the Stone Roses shows in Manchester?.....I know they conflict with PJ shows, but the Mrs. and I had already made plans to go to the Roses on Friday and Sunday. It just so happened the PJ tour was announced, so we at least get 2 shows in Amsterdam.

They announced the support acts. The Justice Tonight band (featuring Mick Jones) plays several Clash songs, so I am very excited!

FRIDAY 29TH JUNE
Primal Scream
The Wailers
The Vaccines
Kid British

SATURDAY 30TH JUNE
Beady Eye
The Wailers
Professor Green
Hollie Cook

SUNDAY 1ST JULY
Plan B
The Wailers
The Justice Tonight Band (feat. Mick Jones, Pete Wylie & The Farm)

    I'll be there on the friday.. I was hoping (selfishly perhaps) for Happy Mondays and The Inspiral Carpets! Oh well..... I've seen Primal Scream a few times so should be great :D

    I'll be there Friday night as well. My friend and I were hoping for Happy Mondays, too.

    Ya goin to see them in Ireland. Was a choice between them and p.j. Choose the roses as prob never see them again and missed them in the 90's. Ian brown not too great live

    Plan B seems like a bit of an odd choice....isn't he more "pop" oriented?

    Yeah, I know what you mean. I think they are gong for an "eclectic mix which reflects the diverse nature of the band"..or something liek that :D

    I'm happy, Friday seems the best support acts.. I would have been happy to see Liam G acting like a twat but only for the comedy value :lol:

    I am so glad we decided to get tickets for the Friday, the likes of Plan B and Professor Green are not to my taste at all. Shall arrive in time for the Wailers, the Scream and then The Roses. Haven't seen the Scream since 2006 so really pleased to have this chance. Wonder if Mani's going to make an appearance with them? Two of my favourite bands one after the other, really made up for this!
