    Hey, a non-reformed sex addict that was the Governor that led the 48th ranked state (in terms of finances, literacy, well being and any other measure known to man) beat a sitting Pres that to this day had THE highest approval rating in February of his re-election year. :lol:

    Also, I'd say the election is nowhere near in the bag. It's going to be a tough race.

    I don't think any of really knows what's going on with the coming election or that anything we say or do will make any difference one way or another. For my money (so-to-speak), I'm focusing my attention environmental and local issues- these are the things that will have much more of a long-term impact on the quality of our lives.

    I was having a laugh with some info a friend gave me that he read off some radical political site
    and I can't remember the months exactly but there is going to be some info released to the media that will expose some of Obama's bad side, I don't have any idea how true or untrue this may be but this guy seems to believe this site or news source what ever it is.

    the closer we get to election time the meatyer this crap will get.

    I honestly think that Obama has a pretty good shot at re-election. It's not that he's a great candidate going into his second term; it's that the Republicans can't seem to find a viable alternative. I would really like to know how Santorum thinks he's going to draw in moderates, or how Romney is going to convince anybody that he's any different than Obama. Candidates like these are a gift to a President who barely makes the grade.

    The thing is unconstitutional. You can argue that the concepts are good. That's fine. But, it's so clearly unconstitutional that it's the discenting opinions that will prove to be "activist." Kagan trying to parse the legislation like a Congressman is Activist. Ruling on the facts in the case is being a good Justice.

    But, keep on with the easy quips. Intelligent folk see through it.

    And, my understanding is Obama's base doesn't like this law either b/c it doesn't go far enough. I don't see how this helps either side.
