have an Emek and only looking for an Ames Alpine Valley or 2006 Klausen DC to trade for
Perhaps you should trade your Emek Edmonton for a clue about how much your fellow members dislike immediately trying to take significant advantage of a poster score. You *might* have luck asking for this 3-6 months from now, but even then the Ames and Klausen prints will still be held in higher regard. In fact, you may not get a disparaging remark if you post this one month from now. But posting this within a week of buying the $37.50 print from Ten Club will earn you nothing but massive flames in response. Not judging, just the truth about how this community and most poster collectors operate.

You have to know this is a lopsided offer, which is really the reason why you've already gotten the  responses.

6 posts in 7 years. Profiteer maybe? I wouldn't trade my Alpine Ames for a kidney. Why would anyone want to part with such a wonderful print like the EMEK Edmonton?

jeez people, a simple no would do. i may be wrong, but i thought the people who bought the alpine valley poster paid the same i did for the emek and going for somewhat close on ebeans.

you dont have to beat up everyone who posts something you dont agree with or think is fair. just ignore the topic.

This. Fair trade imo. Who the hell cares how long you wait to trade a poster. I could see if he offered it up for $100 or so. That would be against tenclub rules.

Now I know why pj poster collectors are referred to as "nerds" on other sites

    Hey Savefarris,
You're right in a way. No would have been just fine. If worst comes to worse, in 6 months if you're still looking for an Ames Alpine, i'll buy it from you for a fair going rate and then i'll turn around and give it away to someone who missed out. You can take the profits from me and put it towards an Ames Alpine. Trust me in 6 month the prices will be more stable.

Sorry if I piggybacked. My bad. Not my intention to be negative. Good luck.
