Update regarding services for Kufala's Brady Lahr
This is per an email received just today....
Hello all,
Brady's family appreciates the so many of you who have expressed their condolences regarding the sudden and unexpected loss of Brady.
Brady is being cremated and we will not be having a traditional funeral/burial. We have chosen the weekend of April 28-29, the week of Brady's 37th birthday, for a memorial service for Brady in Paso Robles, California. We expect most activities will happen on Saturday the 28th. We are still considering the exact time and venue and will let everyone know as soon as this is settled. We will also work out a way to make charitable donations in Brady's name, most likely to cancer research as he had mentioned this as something he would want.
Since the memorial service is several weeks away, we are hoping this will give more time for those wishing to come from far away to make arrangements. The closest airport to Paso Robles is in San Luis Obispo, about 30 minutes away. The Bay Area and Los Angeles area airports are about 2.5 to 3 hours away.
If you have any thoughts on how to honor Brady or suggestions on specific elements of the service or if you are a musician who worked with Brady and would like to make a musical contribution to Brady's remembrance, please contact Brady's brother Randy at <!-- e --><a href="mailto:randlahr@hotmail.com">randlahr@hotmail.com</a><!-- e -->.
