fox news has given obama no quarter. it has said nothing positive about him or his policies at all. they criticized him when he got bin laden, which was the main goal of the war on terror that they supported under bush!!!

it is the propaganda arm of the gop, and all of that negativity has in part caused his political woes. when people like oreilly and hannity and formerly beck, with the audiences they have, they can actually swing an election. so do not discount fox's role in all of this...

are you referring to hosts or guests? can't really think of a host...maybe alan keyes had a show? I don't know, I don't watch it. Also, why is it that everything must be seen through race goggles? What if you don't think of people in groups like that? why then does the race of the person giving information matter?

also, are there a lot of poor people on the other networks?

I think if you take the whole 24/7 quote thing literally it is taking the quote out of context. I do think that fox news gets a lot of flak that isn't always a fair reporting of what they say and do...but they brought that on themselves by not reporting what others say fairly...I really wish there was a reliable news source.

also, I heard about this a little yesterday on the radio before I quickly changed the station (I hate silly, non-issues based arguments right now)...but it did get me thinking...if President Obama is losing the white male support he had in 08...do you guys think it is race related or because of the way fox news reports? Do we really think the white males who supported Obama in 08 also white males that are heavily influenced by Fox News in the first place?

could it not also be that the support/lack of support that is truly racially motivated is the unwavering support among minorities? I don't know...it was an interesting debate I had in my head for a bit that is for sure...I love my commute

Of course Obama is correct and CNN helps him ...
but if the President was doing a really good job no TV station could change that.

I think it is because we actually believed his message of change at the time and it turned out he was just another typical politician. A lot of typical GOP votes went his way.

Obama didn't bring change. The GOP is not going to give Ron Paul the chance. I don't think it matters who is president anymore.

I'm a white male. I voted for Obama in 08. I don't listen to fox news. I'm not voting for Obama unless Santorum gets the GOP nod, and even then I probably won't vote for Obama.

And just as there are those that will vote against Obama because he is black, there are those that will vote for him because he is black.

I watched the vid and laughed because..I'll admit FOX is very anti Obama and so for that reason I'll take in very little as truth (sort thru it kinda) but the topic "Obama blames fox" was just to funny to not share even if it is bullshit..or not, what ever happened to being accountable for youe own actions ? if a news source is watching and waiting for a president to trip then you can bet it will make the news but how the story is told seems to determin support or non support for a president by it listeners and this is why I call it great enterainment value and every station has it's own twist on it...ya gotta admit fox's twist is anything but boring right ? I like to read/listen to a few different stations and then make an opinion but for enterainment value it's fox.

I saw the Valdez docked in Port Angeles, WA when it was either being scrapped or prepared to be. I really got a creepy, eerie feeling looking at that death ship.

dude race is not some card one plays in a game. it's a real life thing that informs how a person is read, listened to, understood, and so on. of course i'd like the world to be "colorblind" but the fact of the matter is that it doesn't work like that. as such when you have a "news" channel or channels that only have white, blond, blue-eyed hosts (fox is disturbingly so) serving as the sole arbiter of telling people what certain "news items" mean, and how they should behave we are only getting a very slim view of the world. further no one has actually said they read the book that fox had some intern read for them. if that's the case we are getting a 2nd hand version of the book read thru a white, blond, blue-eyed lens, and basing our entire discussion around it.

Yes, I know you think that. ;)

I don't think that. I think Santorum and his like are the ones that are ruining the republican party and the country. I think Mitt is a step in the right direction. I really wonder what Mitt would be like without having to try and cater to those idiots in the primaries.

But, I will not decide who I am voting for until right up to the election most likely.

I'm looking at you... FOX Celebrity commentator, Sarah Palin. You do EXACTLY the same lame thing.
