    man I love this song

Ya, it's also one of hubby's favorites.

Too bad PJ is stepping into the spotlight again - cuz he's so going to get BUSTED by his friends.... he claims he wrote that song! He sings and plays that song on his guitar all the time and everyone else around is amazed!

    hahahahaha.... *shakes head*

WorriedAboutYou... hahaha, thanks for the link. ;)
JA: Why do I get the Ticketmaster question?
    EV: It's your band.

We're just upset at the lack of rarities this time around as compared to last tour.
The album has disappointed many, and has sold horribly. Ticket sales are at an all time low. This is why we are getting standard stale sets for the most part. The band plays as fast as they can, and then runs offstage.

    1. Album has not disappointed many on this board, as far as I can tell. I tend to agree with most reviewers for once, its their best work in 10 years, if not 12.
    2. The band obviously feels very good about the album as they are opening every show with 4-5 new songs, and playing 6-7 of them each night.
    3. Yeah, so far less rarities and variety in the setlist. It seems like the band feels this album places itself as among their best work, and as such, they're limiting the sets to stuff they feel is mostly their strongest. Most of us haven't seen a billion shows.
    4. They're playing 25-30 songs a night. That's pretty standard for them and pretty lengthy for most bands, especially a bunch of 40-year old dudes from Seattle.
    5. You should hope the band plays what THEY want to play. I'd much rather hear them tear Comatose a new asshole than be bored playing Spin the Black Circle.

I just got a report that the WHIPPING solo was replaced by a drum solo. Can't wait to hear it.

I'm not trying to pick on you, but do you have evidence to back up these statements?

Most that I have spoken to love the new album. Especially the "not so hardcore fans" who haven't liked anything since Vitalogy. I'll grant you that Hartford wasn't the best show I've seen...but I've seen 23 of them. And the guy I took with me was blown away (his first PJ show)

Admittedly I'm basing this on a very small sample, but you seem to be painting with some pretty broad brushstrokes. You have every right to your opinion, but don't start to mistake your opinions as facts.

It's about time. A band that idolizes the Who has got to do a drum solo every once in a while. Very cool.

Go to User Panel Control and there you'll find an "Buddy/Ignore list" icon

    BTW: Down!! Love that song...
