John Butler - "Tin Shed Tales" - Solo & Intimate

If anyone is interested, I'll be attending John Butler's solo show here in Dunsborough, Western Australia on Thursday evening local time (Thurs morning US time) and will be taking pics from my phone using our new phone ap 'SnapReplay' to live streaming pics from the show to the SnapReplay website.

Blurb: John Butler returns to his roots to perform a solo concert at Clancy’s Fish Pub (outdoors), Dunsborough WA supported by Felicity Groom. John will be bringing his Tin Shed along for the ride, decked out with a collection of personal art pieces, old skool skateboards and vintage guitars, these items are laid out in his shed at home where he draws inspiration for his art and songwriting.

    Looking forward to the show. I used to see John busking in Freo in the 90s and also playing in the backroom at the old Swanbourne hotel - back in those days he was really gracious and happy to speak to you and let you know how he felt about the sate of the world. What he can do solo with a guitar is pretty amazing.

    He is so talented - to see him transition between guitar, dobro, banjo, and uke whilst playing harmonica and singing his own lyrics so beautifully was sublime. JB lives and breathes 'respect' (environment, first peoples of the world, women...) and his fans gave it back to him and each other. So proud he was WA-raised. Enjoy the show Paul!

    That sounds awesome!! I'd love to see just John solo in an intimate setting! Saw JBT open for DMB twice in 2010 and they were absolutely amazing! I have to see them headline someday!
