  • I always thought Pearl Jam would do a killer cover of Neil Young's "Cortez The Killer" and Led Zeppelin's "Tangerine."

To go along perfectly with an already common cover (Baba O'Riley, first song on Who's Next), they've gotta do "Won't Get Fooled Again" at some point! It's Who Next's grand finale and obviously an all time classic for The Who.

Matt Cameron would have a great time with that...and Eddie would enjoy it as always because he loves The Who so much.

    We're no good together. Tesla

    What a jam!
  • I've always said "Love Beach" would be a killer tune for PJ to cover. It's from a very hated album by Emerson Lake & Palmer (the band hates it too), but the song is short and the music is very Who-sounding (right up PJ's alley) and the range and tone of Greg Lake's voice on this tune is right in EV wheelhouse. People always think I'm joking, but this could be an awesome cover IMO - maybe even a Xmas single?!

  • I’d like to hear their take on “Darkness” by The Police. Lyrically, it seems like something that makes sense, and would push Boom forward a bit for a song.

  • Ever hear a song and say to yourself, "I'd love to hear Pearl Jam cover this"?
"The World is a Vampire" was on the radio this morning and I had this very thought. Smashing Pumpkins:

Also, "Cumbersome" by Seven Mary Three:

Two very different songs, but two I think that PJ could knock out of the park.

P.S.--To the best of my knowledge PJ's never done these, but please correct me if I'm wrong. And send me the link for Gawd's sake! :D

Murfeesboro 94.  Bring back a few good quality boots with Sitting by the Dock of the Bay.  They did fantastic back in 94 and it would be amazing on one of todays higher quality boots. Sure it's not new but I think they only did it the one time and it would be in my dream set.

This is just a fun kick ass song that any rock band would enjoy playing and I think Pearl Jam would absolutely nail it. I can just picture Stone doing his duck walk while playing that riff lol. If they ever do it, I can only pray that it happens in Philly.
