PJ Poster Framing question

For those of you who order frames online(American Frame), when you decide not to frame with a mat, do you add an extra 1/8th of an inch to ensure that it fits and doesn't damage the poster?

What are your thoughts/tips for framing with no mat?

    My sister orders a frame that is bigger and gives an inch around the whole poster from the frame.

    She back mounts the poster on the backing board and then places it in the frame.

    Go to an actual frame shop. American frame is garbage.
