Smashing Pumpkins is more marketable.

He was always the biggest part of the Pumpkins though... Even writing and playing everything but drums on Siamese Dream.

would be bloody awesome.. i think he should, solo work would suit his ego.. and if this link is anything to go by, they'd be some fantastic shows if he swallowed his pride and played the songs that people want to actually hear.

It was always his band, but there is so little about this band left.

Billy Corgan WAS and IS the Smashing Pumpkins. The original lineup will always be the best, but, this new band is pretty good.

Get James back? He tried. James is comfortable with A Perfect Circle and whatever else he is doing... Some solo stuff I believe

Get D'Arcy back? She is way too out of it. I'm certain she still has a drug problem

Jimmy? He WAS in the band again but he QUIT this time around.

Just give it a listen, fans of the old stuff are liking this one too.

It's all about the marketing too. Smashing Pumpkins is more recognizable
