Opinions on college honor societies?

I got an invitation to join the Phi Kappa Phi honor society in the mail. Is this something that is just wanting my $65 or is it actually something that will look good on job and post-grad school applications? I have worked hard to maintain a 4.0 grad GPA and my program does not recognize any students with honors at graduation. So, would this be something that will look nice in lieu of graduating with honors?

    I deposited my invitation to Phi Kappa Phi in the trash upon arrival. May I ask, what is your major?
