    Uh no.

I last saw them a decade ago, and while talented and performing a good show... you could tell they were cashing checks. It felt very scripted down to the kicks and the gi-gi-gi-gow

You've probably done Salmon Fest before, so you know the pros and cons to going. I'd save the $500 or $600 bucks you'd spend, and buy a plane ticket a show you'd really want to go to. Especially if all these people are saying that Aerosmith isn't that great live.

Saw them in 04 and they were okay. They played all the hits, plus some newer material and everything sounded okay..not horrible..but not great either...some songs sounded better than others...Ioverall not really outstanding or memorable and somewhat "washed up", IMO. I can't remember how long they played. Steve Tyler made a generic sounding comment during the show how it had been such a long time since they had played in that city and how it was so great to be back. Aerosmith had never played in that region before that concert. :? Good to know he was sticking to his script. I think that's the thing I remember the most about the show.

And the money is another thing and trying to find a place to stay... and I dont like Cheap Trick...and Uncle kracker...what the hell....where did they dig him up.

I saw them in 1997, and they were OK. Not bad, not great, just OK. Mainly due to the fact their set barely clocked in at the 1hr 30 mark.

$100 for Salmon Fest tickets. Seems a bit much. I see they also added a VIP section, I wonder how much that costs ?

I haven't gone since the Hip played in 2005, and I won't be going this year. Saved my pennies to go to New Orleans for Jazz Festival instead.

    Maybe next year.

I like them but am not a huge fan. I was hoping for Bruce or the Foo's, at least we know they will keep brining in the big acts for the next few years at least

Yeh hopefully. Dont get me wrong I think its great that Salmon Fest is finally bringing in big name acts, just so happens I'm not a fan of Kiss or Aerosmith...and I'm not type to go see a band just because of who they are.

Hopefully next year it will be someone I like.

I'm going to say two things here:

    1. I'm not an Aerosmith freak, but I think in their early days they had some great rock and roll music.

    2. I've seen Aerosmith twice. They were my first concert in 2002 and I saw them supporting KISS in 2003 (I think that was the year). Both times they were incredibly underwhelming. I'm not sure who to blame, but the sound at both shows was just bad. Wayyy too loud, seriously to the point where you were unsure of what they were even playing.

I will also say that the KISS/Aerosmith show still holds my personal record of most bare breasts seen in one place. Some of the breasts were questionable though.

Go see them if you haven't, simply to say you saw them (if that's even worth it to you). But, my guess is that the ticket price is not worth what the show will be.

    6/12/08 - Tampa, FL

    9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
