Cameras in Camden

I've noticed that other venues in the area have become very lax with their digital camera policy, but the Tweeter Center (Now SBC) has notoriously been very strict. I haven't been to a show at the Tweeter center since the last PJ concert, and while I was able to sneak a camera in, I noticed they gave a lot of people a hard time about it. Does anyone know if anything has changed, or if they will let me just bring a camera in, in my pocket, not having to hide it?

My understanding for every venue is that the Pearl Jam policy overrides the general venue policy. I'm planning on bringing a camera in.

does anyone plan to try to bring in a (D)SLR? Or has brought one to other shows?
I have a new one that i would love to bring but I have to keep it in a separate bag and I presume that would be searched. I think I read detachable lenses arent allowed but still, its not a pro-camera, its a new toy.
  • I think that you're only allowed to bring disposables....nothing professional. If you're siitng in the back, the lighting sucks anyway.

Last time around, we were sitting in section 200 and I wanted to get a picture. The security guard escorted me to the front so I could get a pic.
I will hold the candle until it burns up my arm. I'll keep taking punches until their will grows tired. I will stare the sun down until my eyes go blind. I won't change direction and I won't change my mind.

    LOL. Love the reasoning!

I hope they don't discriminate on camera size. I bought a new 10x zoom Panny (TZ3) and it's a bit bulkier than most slim digital cameras these days. However, it does still fit in my pocket, albeit a bit snug.
