Virginia Beach pre-party

3300 Princess Anne Rd
Virginia Beach, VA 23456

For those of you driving into town on Tues., be sure to leave early, especially if you will be crossing the Hampton Roads Bridge tunnel. Traffic backups usually start around 3pm, so plan accordingly. Tune into AM610 for traffic info. 664 is an alternate route, if there are delays at the HRBT.

    I'm so excited for this. I plan on leaving extra early Tuesday morning from NYC. Thank God for navigation, too :)

    we're driving down Monday am - maybe we'll have time to scope out where the venue is in relation to the hotels on the beach?

    You have to come visit me at the Holiday Inn at the beach. I'll be coming solo from NYC. Someone needs to hang out with me :)

    The Venue is about 10-15 miles from the ocean front and where most of the hotels are. Have a safe drive!

    I've gone to pj shows solo - don't worry - you won't be solo for long -

    sidenote: if you think 664 will be longer, it is but not by much...well worth it.

    Exactly. It is a longer distance, but traffic won't be backed up for miles, so in the end it's not that much longer.

    Won't be able to make it to BWW pre-show since I don't want to risk missing any of Kings of Leon's set.

    There's a couple fires on the state border.
    *if you have asthma be prepared*
    Bring visine too for itchy eyes.

    How bad is the traffic at the tunnel? I plan on leaving the baltimore maryland area around noon, so to get there by around 4pm... is traffic very bad? are there many speed traps :P
