Alpine 2012 possible

A friend and fellow tenclub member has a buddy that has season passes to Alpine. When he bought them the guy on the phone said PJ was coming back this year. Not sure how likely it is for PJ to do 2 straight years at Alpine, but just passing it along. Anyone heard anything similar?

    I believe that somebody on here mentioned last year that they wrapped the venue up for Labor Day werkend for the next three years, but I've been told that that's fairly common with bands and venues. The whole PJ21 thing with the t-shirts has me thinking the possibility of it happening again is highly likely. We will see.

    I also bought season tickets last year, but they didn't mention Pearl Jam coming back this year when I spoke to them, but I did notice that the tickets were more expensive this year and they have only announced the 4 shows so far. I also called Alpine Valley resort to see if they had rooms available for labor day weekend, and they said they did, so that kind of ruled out the hotel package being reserved already, maybe it won't be labor day weekend.

    Yeah, but a lot of people at this time had already booked because we knew FOR SURE that there was going to be a destination weekend and it was pretty much established it was going to be at Alpine. Maybe they aren't doing VIP packages or maybe not as many people have booked. All speculation and what if's. All I know is I'm in too!!!

    Okay, if they DO swing it, I need to see a whole different line-up or ONLY Pearl Jam. I wouldn't trade our Alpine experience for much, but I cant have guys like Joey Casablanca screwing up any more pure Pearl Jam gold.

    We really haven't heard any really strong rumors, so I'm holding out as of now. However putting a refundable deposit in at Alpine isn't really a bad idea I guess.

    With how difficult it's been for Alpine Valley to fill their schedule the last X years, you can make a case that it makes sense for them to say "Sure, Pearl Jam, we'll cater to all of your unique needs in creating a destination weekend for you, but you have to help us out by playing here the next 3 years."
