Any fans of The Lumineers out there? I can't wait until April for the debut album and to see them live here in Chicago(Evanston). They are out of Denver. If you are a fan of The Head And The Heart or some good old fun folky, rootsy, Americana type shit, then you will enjoy this band a lot.

I actually really like them. Thanks for posting about them. Too bad the show is sold out in Evanston already :(

Wow! I was just looking last night and tickets were still available. I have not been to Space, but here it's great. You can't beat the intimacy. I have a reserved table seat, but feel like I probably will be dancing on top of it by the end of the night.

Going to see them in Boston and very interested to hear their debut as well.

I think they are going to follow the same rapid rise that The Head and the Heart just went through.

If you hear of any tickets that come up....will you keep me in mind please?

Just throwing it out there, they are nothing like PJ, but the world could be a better place if we could all feel this band together right now!

They headlined a small show here in Harrisburg a month or so ago... Great show, just as good live as they are on record. Go see them if you can!

I highly recommend the new Winter EP they just released on Record Store Day.
Their album may be my top album of the year.

Saw them support The Civil Wars in Liverpool at the start of this month. Knew nothing of them but was very impressed. After their slot, I went straight to the merch booth and picked up their album. While I was in the queue the band came to the booth and started signing autographs. It got a bit busy there and I didn't want to miss the start of The Civil Wars.

The album is fantastic and they are really good live. They are back in the UK in February, already got my tickets. Looking forward to seeing them again. :D

I believe Jimmy Cliff is opening DMB's Boston date. The Lumineers start opening the shows from the show after through the end of the tour.

Oh, my bad! Just saw you even wrote February. Guess that nap I took just now was too long  That's awesome! Just looked at their website and it looks like just a pair of New Years shows then few-off US dates next year after they wrap up opening for DMB. Hopefully sometime next year I can catch them do a full set, been really loving them lately!

  • Love this band. I was really hoping to see them open for DMB in Cville, but I'm not going anymore of course lol. Hopefully I can see them sometime after I get back. They're probably too big now to come to Pensacola to do a show at the 525 capacity Vinyl Music Hall :x so the next closest place is like 2+ hours away they could possibly play :(

Definitely my favourite on the album. Though I don't think there is a bad song. Great album, great band
