I am going my first Radiohead show next week in Phoenix and just asking if anyone has seen them live recently? If so, how was it? How excited should I be for the show? Any follow up I greatly appreciate.
thanks

The show was awesome. It was also my first time seeing radiohead live. I can post the setlist if you want to see it. One thing though: Be familiar with the most recent albums as they pull from those mostly or so it seems. They will play a few hits, but not like PJ would. Great stage projections, and lighting. It's really neat to see Radiohead recreate their music live on a stage. Hope this helps. Have a great time. I know I did. Bummer it took me this long to see them live. Just had other obstacles in the way on previous tours.

They completely ignored anything from Pablo Honey, The Bends, and Amnesiac for Houston. They are playing some B sides and or non released material a little bit too. As the setlists have been looking, it's best to be familiar with Kings of Limbs, In Rainbows, and Hail to the theif cause they appear to be playing alot of those songs live for a good chunk of the setlist. The other albums haven't been hit as hard. It's only the5th maybe 6th show of this tour (think they did an ACL taping in Austin today or yesterday). Have fun! The show was fantastic for Houston. You won't be dissapointed. the new album sounded better live I thought, now I love it alot more.
To echo Better Dan- King of Limbs just amazed me live, now I love it studiowise. I liked it before, and was like it's good, but now I love it, after seeing those songs played live. wow!

i think the key to the recorded version is putting them on a halfway decent stereo with good speakers and turning it up a bit.
i like it. sounds good at about 20 on dial.
I like it too. I never hated it, but I definitely "got it" after a few listens and have grown to really enjoy it. The songs sound a lot better live so you may actually enjoy them at the show.

I'm not concerned about that. I just try to get any poster from any show I actually attend as a keepsake. I have more than enough t-shirts and hoodies. hahahahahaha

I don't know if they have all been/will be the same design with different color like the two above.

I was actually in line to buy a shirt, but they were out of the one I wanted. I just happen to see this table as I was about to exit the venue, that had the posters. They also had one that was grey and had the forest tree design and it just said: RADIOHEAD. There were quite a few posters left. The table was in a very odd spot. They also have poster tubes for the poster after purchasing. The also excepted credit cards at our show as well. Posters are $30.
Design appears to be the same, it's just the venue name, street address, are a different color for each city.

we had the pink version in st louis too.
st louis might have been the greatest show ever....wow...it was a slow build to the 2nd encore which totally blew my mind....or it might have been all the boozing and puff puff passing. i dunno, but what a crazy night.
i did feel bad at the end..there were some J's being passed around...hit the first and passed it back...second one comes my way, i hit and pass it to these guys behind me that asked for it after the first one went back...i glance back and a cop is pulling the holder out and then took his buddy two. :( hopefully, they only got tossed out. put a little damper on the night considering i passed it to them and it could have been me. :?
anyways...wow...what a wild show.. here is our set list.

keep an eye on ticketmaster...good seats were popping up a couple of days before the dallas show.
for st louis, there were some on ticketmaster...i saw a couple of floor seats at face...obviously, you had to enter at the same time as the seller
like i said before, hope nothing happened to them beyond getting booted...before the show one of the two was super excited.
