Hey guys I'm planning a trip to Washington, D.C.

Not sure what you recommend but I'm trying to go as cheap as I can...

Thanks

Also, you can stay just outside DC- Bethesda, Arlington, etc and take the metro in.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

This might be your best bet. There really are no 'cheap' places to stay in DC. Also, the hotel rooms out there are ALL tiny. Parking is also a bitch. Great city though!

Not driving, hell no. Sounds like a plan. So... Dulles or National?

I don't care about the size of my room... I won't be in it very long. :)

    Thanks all

Arlington National Cemetary will take your breath away. I could sit at Bobby Kennedy's grave for hours. I just found it so peaceful there.
    More so Bobby's than John's. I don't know why.

National is closer to the city and accessible by Metro rail. I used to go to D.C. several times a year for work. I love the city. Have fun!
