so they are back together, well, at least the singer and the guitarist and 3 other dudes. But Ian Thornley wrote almost everything anyway, so the other members don't matter a whole lot. just went and picked up the new album today.

    good call. love that album. everyone went gaga over In Loving Memory Of, but TPATG was by far my favourite of the two.

    It's the only album of theirs I (legally) own, and I love it. somehow it isn't on my iPod so it's been neglected for a long time. I'm bringing the disc with me to work tomorrow though, so hopefully I can give it a spin. the Oaf, though not on that album is also an amazing song; it actually got me into into them in the first place. I'll probably pick up the new album in the near future, and will definitely catch them live when next they play Toronto.

    Im loving Albatross. When my local station first played it I went nuts! I remember it being October and the guy saying its a band of all Americans save a Canadian guitarist and singer I knew he was going to play a new Big Wreck song.

    This album is everything I was expecting from Wasting Light, and way more. Got my VIP package for the Commodore in Vancouver...What should I say to Ian and Brian?

    I dig the title track, but the rest is kind of "meh" to me. :(
