I was just wondering what you so when someone your not very close with dies? You know of them, but you haven't talked to them in years. Do you send flowers, call, email, post on facebook? I was just wondering what you usually do. Sorry such a downer post, but someone I went to school with just died and I'm not really sure what to do. --Thanks

No I wasn't thats why I wasn't really sure what to do. That would probably be the best choice.

If you know anyone in the family, sending a sympathy card can never be wrong. If you have any old favorite memories to share with them, or things that stood out about the person, I am sure they would appreciate hearing them. I think it's good to always err on the side of doing something, rather than doing nothing. Just my two cents...
