Incubus to open for PJ in Nijmegen

Yes, Incubus are one of the opening acts in Nijmegen. It's on the Mojo-site (Dutch promotor).

    Where does it say on that thread that Incubus are opening? And why did you say they are 'one' of the opening bands?

    Want sowieso kunnen Pearl Jam klassiekers als Alive en Black te goed worden gedaan languit in het gras van het Nijmeegse Goffertpark. Maar als bonus krijg je ook nog drie voorprogramma's voorgeschoteld die het 'mini-festival' gevoel compleet maken. In ieder geval is Incubus één van de drie support-acts. Hou de Mojo Nieuwsbrief en site in de gaten voor de overige twee bands.

    Is this really legit?

    Incubus is doing a 6 week Europe tour beginning in March. Would they really go back that soon after?

    Lots of bands do a tour of Europe and then come back for the festivals. Even bigger bands as R.E.M., Metallica, RHCP, Green Day, ... all came over for an indoor tour end winter/early spring and then came back for a series of festivals & other dates.

    It's 100% legit if you ask me.

    This is indeed legit as Incubus is playing for example at Nova Rock festival (the very same Pearl Jam is playing too). Who knows? Maybe they will support them in other places too.

    One day, I was reading this magazine I don´t remember its name where Incubus were saying that Pearl Jam was really inspiring for them and for their carrer...I guess it would be very exciting for them to play together or at least in the same stage...

    Congrats!!!

    P.S:and I like Incubus :D

    Warmup for the Evolution Tour??? Hm....

    I have a feeling the Strokes will be seen around these parts sometime soon. Or, I hope...

    also wondering..if it says 3 opening acts, wonder who the other 2 are? how long each band will play, and most importantly, how long pearl jam will play. :) hmmmm...wonder if it'll start earlier? all these musings...and ugh, i need a ticket! :D

    Anyone listen to Incubus's new album - Light Grenades yet? Couple of the songs have some riffs that are really similar to some PJ songs.

    Next time I'm jammin' out in the car, I'll try and pinpoint which songs, more accurately.
