AET Poker Games

What chaps my ass is the transition of the game for me...
Started out getting awesome poket cards that never amounted to anything. Poket pairs...flop is a straight draw that hits. A-Q, flop is 4-6-7 all suited....ass raises his flush. Over and over...
Then comes the long streak of shit. After putting $ in the pot and getting burned on my "nice" pocket hands that never amounted to anything comes the card drought. Anties bleeding me dry without a hand to play.
Getting old.0 -

BALDYASS RAISES????
So he can go one-on-one for $260????
WTF IS THAT???
I don't watch the tables but in all fairness this sounds like smart tournament poker. If he had a good stack and thought he could isolate with a raise I support it.0 -

He has never EVER showed me any poker "Smarts"..
Shorty had 260 chips left..
She was FORCED all in by being the big blind...
3rd and only player in the game had 2-3K left...
HIS ONLY MOTIVE was to be an ASS...
Smart tourney Player???

Like I mentioned I havent been watching the tables but for me personally whn I'm in a tourney and see the chance to knock out a very short stack I push hard especially out of position. Catches a lot of weak players off guard there. I've been bitten in the ass with that before but more times than not it gets me heads up and a chance to move up a spot. Worst case scenario in the picture you painted (and I don't mean that disrespectfully at all) if he gets heads up and loses he gambled 260 in chips.0 -

I understand the situation....
His motive was plain and simple...
To BE AN ASS!!! hehehe
Trust me...
When he has 12,000 chips, and suddenly asks..."Whats the payout?" (After he/we spent the 1st 10 minutes of the game, discussing the payout)
He is ONLY doing it for one reason...
TO BE AN ASS!!!! heheheTake me piece by piece.....

After winning the hand and NEVER addressing Shorty with the (GG horseshit)......
He was being AN ASS!!!! hehehehe
Trust me...
I know the guy....
I know how his mind works....
And I love how after 6 months...
People will stay say NH.....
Even after someone OBVIOUSLY played DONKEYFEST Cards, and somehow got LUCKIER than all hell, and won a hand....
It WASNT A NH...
IT WAS DONKEYCRAP!!!!! hehehehe

well speedy you did have a NH, untill that forth club came up on the river.
Just like my hand, short stacked i go all in with a pair of 8's after the flop. baldy has no pair but one heart and ends up getting the flush. too bad so sad. Next time i will get them!!!
like i said, i would rather play when the payout goes to three people. With that being said again, i'm sure i will see you guys Saturday.

100% wrong play. if you have a short stack all in and multiple players still in the pot, you don't raise....unless you have the nuts....period.
this isn't a spot to push, and it's a win or lose hand...it's about having the most opportunites to knock out a player. drives me nuts when people raise with crap when a player is all in. get that friggen player eliminated. :fp:81 is now off the air0 -

A-J unsuited IS NOT that powerful of a starting hand...
PLUS I played that hand wrong in my mind.
Had I just called pre-flop...
THEN gone all in after the flop, representing the pair of A's (which I indeed had).....
Maybe, just maybe, those 2 players fold and I win the hand....
In live poker I may have had a chance had I played it that way...
But on the Internet? Who knows..
Bestdeal basically called 95% of my bets over the weekend....
Baldeagle traditionally calls 95% of my bets...Take me piece by piece.....

Wins the fucking hand....
Never says good game to Shorty....
Nice...
REAL FUCKING NICE....
DonkeyFest!!!!
I wondered about that raise too.
Also why does Baldeagle take forever to bet every time? He must be using dial up."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -

I was the one who got pushed out with his raise and I questioned it during the game, but he didn't respond to me. I don't think he's being an ass, I just think he doesn't understand poker. I would have had a full house and won the hand, by the way. But it's not about me not winning the hand, when you have a chance to knock someone out the more the better. Especially with the stack he had, 260 was not going to make a difference. The only way you raise there is if you had the nuts. Any chance to knock a player out you take no matter what."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -

Just call, give shorty the chance to win her $780, and she will probably be gone the next hand...
Because she STILL doesnt have enough to cover the blinds...
Pretty sure he is/was on a laptop....

This is true, they are classic calling stations. Bestdeal is a much better player than Baldeagle, but he called a ton of my bets over the weekend too. I just got lucky and wasn't hit as bad as Speedy was."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -

What's messed up about that...calling that often is usually a one way ticket to the end of a tourney.
They actually HIT the flop or the turn almost every f'n time!!
I'd have top pair on the board, raise it (didn't really matter how much), and they'd hit a flush or a straight on the next two cards...
Who in their right f'n mind is going to hold on to two weak suited cards with the hope that the turn AND the river hit after raises of 300-400 each time?
I don't get it.
I guess when you are hitting EVERYTHING, you can make those plays. :?0 -

The play works a lot more than you would imagine. I mean, he did win the hand right and move up a spot right?0 -

love this thread ... big fan ... :corn:
i'm not sure why this move is bad tho ... he got you off the pot ... from what i can read 260 was not a huge stack so if he just called ... it opened it up to everyone else just calling ... why wouldn't he want to go heads up with the short stack ... seemed like the short stack was in for 260 regardless - what does she care if he raises ... if anything - it improves her chances because she won't be going up against multiple hands although there is the possibility she could have won more if more people were in but it appears she was all in regardless so not likely to have a strong hand ...0
