closest London airport to Wembely venue???

hola fellow PJ fans!


what is the closest London airport to the London venue?


Gatwick? Heathrow?

i am trying to figure out how to get to the venue from certain airports since i have a late flight to London ...

    Gatwick is miles away as is Stanstead
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Heathrow is the closest airport. It depends how late your flight gets in. The underground trains (Piccadilly Line) runs into central London quite late, but where you go from there, I don't know. It would be tricky to make your way back out to Wembley late at night. (And the area can be a bit dodgy for strangers.) Do you have a place to stay?
    Buses also run from the airport after the underground shuts down. They go right through the night. Some link to a train that runs from a station called Feltham and go into London Waterloo. This might be a good bet because Waterloo is on the Bakerloo Line underground, which is the line that runs to Wembley. But again I don't think the trains run very late.
    Getting into town from Heathrow late at night is easy, but you definitely need somewhere to stay. Taxis are expensive because the airport is a long way out of town.
