I'd totally go if that was in my area! LOVE Marcy Playground! My hubby's a huge LIT fan...which I've always found interesting since the whole 90's scene was totally lost on him.

I like all those bands cept for one. Good thing for Mark McGrath, he's good eye candy :lol::lol: I LOVE the Gin Blossoms. Too bad it's on the wrong coast :D
  • Whoever's promoting this is a genius. Take the most middle of the road of the 90's 'alternative' rock acts, bung them on one bill, put it on in a beautiful venue near the Hollywood Hills and watch the cash roll in. As much as a bill like this isn't my cup of chai, I'd never slag folk who go to it: nearly every single band on this bill had at least one (most of them more than one) hit single back in the day. And that's nothing to sneeze at.

I remember Everclear being especially huge in Australia in the mid-90's. It seemed like every single from one or two albums was a massive hit. Insane. The Gin Blossoms don't even need a mention with the hits they had.

This is a guaranteed money spinner. Watch.

I guess Smashmouth, Harvey Danger and Fastball weren't available!

makes me feel old that bands from my mid and late 20s are now doing "package" tours!

Think how weird it would have been if PJ fizzled out after 10, and were now on multiple act bills such as this one!

I had really liked the Gin Blossoms but sadly the genius behind the band committed suicide many years ago and they were never the same.

I'll go see this if it comes to the East coast. However, I hope to take a really really long piss during Marcy Playground. My hatred for that band's music is unparalelled :D

I love the title of this thread.:lol: I feel like I have to go tho this, just to keep my Sugar Ray streak alive. Sugar Ray is HUGE on the county and state fair circuit, and I'm a huge fans of state and county fairs so I've seen my fair share of Sugar Ray shows.

I made a pun!

Hey, looks like they will be in NYC too! Roseland Ballroom, July 18.

I'd be tempted to go other than the fact that it's wayyy too close to when I get back from PJ in Europe. I feel like any show I go to for at least the next 6 months after will be a colossal letdown..
