This is a mathematics quiz which will identify your favourite movie - guaranteed !!

This test will require your best testing experience; I did my best and was amazed at the result. Try it and see how you do!!!!!
This is amazing -- it's a simple mathematical exercise that can predict
your favourite movie. It must have been created by a real genius. Don't
know how it works, but it works every time! Be honest and don't look at
the movie list below till you have done the maths!
OK, OK, just humour me and do it!

Movie Quiz:
1. Pick a number from 1-9.
2. Multiply by 3.
3. Add 3.
4. Multiply by 3 again.
5. Now add the two digits of your answer together to find your
predicted favorite movie in the list of 17 movies

Movie List:
1. Gone With the Wind
2. E.T.
3. Blazing Saddles
4. Star Wars

It would not be the movie that I would want to see, but you can make an unlimited amount of funny jokes using this equation.
I am going to save that formula.

FAIL. The two digits summed in point five could be 9 + 9 and since there's no 18 on the list of movies, this will not work.

Wow, It really did know my favorite movie was blazing saddles. Pretty good!

You take the 18 and add the 1 and 8

As is obvious, the answer is #9 each time.

If so this is so, I'm guessing the sequel to this movie would be "Little Shop of Horrors". ;) ...

Due to the lack of competition from other film studios, they have delayed the Obama movie until 2017.

I'm wrong! The answer is not nine every time. I got 6!!

    I chose 2.69 (a number from 1 to 9) x 3 = 8.01 + 3 + = 11.01 x 3 = 33.03
    3+3=6

The good, The Bad and The Uuuuuuuugly!

  • Funny, I tried this and got #6; The Good, The Bad and the Ugly as well. It seems like that must always be the answer.

    I chose 3.999999999999

I'd like to know what kind of math you used.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

That is what I always loved about the symmetry of the nines:
    9 x 1 = 09 -- 0+9=9
    9 x 2 = 18 -- 1+8=9
    9 x 3 = 27 -- etc...
    9 x 4 = 36
    9 x 5 = 45
    9 x 6 = 54
    9 x 7 = 63
    9 x 8 = 72
    9 x 9 = 81
    9 x 10 = 90
    ...
    9 x 11 = 99 -- 9+9=18
    9 x 12 = 108 -- 10+8=18
    9 x 13 = 117 -- 11+7=18
    9 x 14 = 126 -- etc...
    9 x 15 = 135
    9 x 16 = 144
    9 x 17 = 153
    9 x 18 = 162
    9 x 19 = 171
    9 x 20 = 180
    ...
    9 x 21 = 189 -- 18+9=27
    9 x 22 = 198 -- 19+8=27
    9 x 23 = 207 -- 20+7=27
    etc...
