    Has he listed dates?
  • I managed to get 1 ticket for Memphis. It sold out really fast. The New Daisy is a super small club.

He is also playing Werchter festival in Belgium on June 29, 2012 and that is the same day Pearl Jam plays there! Both on the main stage. Jack White is earlier. Would love to go there that day but I'm not sure if I've got enough money. I already have a ticket to Pearl Jam's Stockholm concert on July 7 a week later... Hopefully Jack will announce more European dates really soon and hopefully he'll play Finland or Sweden. Would be perfect is he played the night before or after the Pearl Jam concert in Stockholm or even better some day in Finland as long as it isn't July 7...

Nice! Tomorrow on 3/3/2012 he'll be on SNL playing two songs and that will be his first solo performance ever. His website: www.jackwhiteIII.com

Do you mean what comes to the sound / acoustics of the New Daisy?

I just realized it being 3/3, and his affinity for the number 3, if he chose the date?

That second song was AWESOME. I can't wait for the new album, and I really really really hope he does a proper tour and comes to the Bay Area!

Kinda cool that the "slow" song had women backing him up while the "rock" song had guys backing him up. 8-)

anyone else think 'sixteen saltines' sounds a lot like a Raconteurs song? I wonder if his live shows will have a lot of other people playing instruments. Doesn't seem very soloish with a full band. I liked it though. Perhaps it'll be Jack white and The ...... someday, like Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.

Going to see him next Monday in Birmingham. He's playing a intimate and awesome venue called Workplay. Supposedly, the show sold out the fastest ever for Workplay. Five minutes or so and the tickets has vamanosed. Holler if anyone else here on the boards is going....would love to buy you a beer.

Definitely going to try and see him in L.A. I've never seen him in any of his other incarnations, so I'm really looking forward to this show.

I really want to go see him at the Ryman, but I don't know if I will be able to get the time off. I want to try and get tickets on the public sale, but I don't know if they will be paperless like the Mumford show was a couple weeks ago. I am already asking for time off for the EV show(s) in Jacksonville a couple weeks earlier and I don't wanna buy a ticket and not get the time off.

I'm confused about ticket sales. Do you have to be at the Ryman or a Ticketmaster outlet one hour before ticket sales on Friday? Is that the only way to get tickets? Or is there a way to get tics on-line or via phone? All I see are instructions for lining up outside the Ryman.

20 minutes after getting locked out of my mastercard somehow on the first try, I managed to pull a balcony seat for the first night at The Ryman. I saw Mumford and Sons there a couple weeks ago and there isn't a bad seat in the house. So I am so insanely happy. Although, first time around I was just off center about 15 rows back, now I'm 2nd to last row in the balcony

I got one ticket to the Ryman for May 15. By the time I got back in to try to get a 2nd one it was sold out. Don't know what hubby is going to do. He really don't care about going anyway, but it is nice to have somebody to drive to Nashville with. Maybe he will hang out at Tootsie's while I go to the show. :)

Also, it is hubby's fault that I only got one. He was chatting with me on FB when tickets went on sale and I forgot about it until I saw the tweet, so it was 12:05 before I logged on to TM.
