February seemed pack full of good music..looks like 2012 is gonna be a great year. I'm especially excited for the debut of Willis Earl Beal..describes himself as the "black Tom Waits." What music did you all get into this month?

of montreal - paralytic stalks. i can't stop listening. amazing! people really need to check this record out. it's gotten very mixed reviews. i think this might be one of those masterpieces that flies under the radar. don't let it pass you by...use headphones if you have a nice pair. turn the lights out. you're in for a trip.
  • Van Halen's A Different Kind of Truth has ruled my universe since I cracked it open 2 weeks ago. I cannot get enough of this record - today is the the first day I have not played it in 2 weeks...and it's still only 5:20 pm, so there is time yet!

I plan to pick up Mark Lanagan's album as I'm sure it will be very good. But I've been so pumped over Van Halen that I can't give anything else a truly fair listen right now.

    What an amazing record!
