Ok I just got a text from my girl Vedhead27 and so far she has reported

Sleight of Hand has been soundchecked.

Sleight of Hand, Big Wave, some of Leash, Thin Air, All Those Yesterdays, MFC, Light Years (Vedhead is freaking!! Thats her fave and she's never heard it live)

From BRY: Also soundchecked: Gone/Whipping/ RVM/ Lip/........someone solo?"

From RM: Jeremy also done. My question...WHY do they need to soundcheck THAT?

    BIG WAVE folks!!! Its gonna happen. This fuckin band only loves Boston and Philly it seems. Then again we already knew that.

    Also Leash soundchecked.

    Light Years!! I REALLY hope they play this. Vedhead27 has never heard this live...cept from my cellphone (or boots). So PLEASE play it for her.

    thanks for the update, mel. at least i'll have a good feeling of what they'll be playing tonight while i get into some bar fights in downtown vancouver after game 5.

    the east gets amazing shows.
    hope Lydia is having the time of her life (duh!).

    I dunno...I've been getting text messages from Vedhead27 who is THERE. Maybe some of those were played before she got there.

    Light Years is my favorite as well. I was fortunate enough to see it live at St. John's night 2....all i wanted to hear that weekend was light years and i got shit, and i got them both during night 2 after hearing nothing as it seems and present tense during night 1

    OMG i kNOW! I HOPE Lyd gets Light Years tonight, I know both her and Kaddi need to hear that song live. :) She'll get it! I have a feeling, if not tonight, then maybe tomorrow :D

    OH man, Mel, she called me during soundcheck, for All Those Yesterdays or was it Thin Air...it was very faint!! oooo, if they play BOTH of those songs, I am SO going to freak out for her :eek:

    OMG me too!!! I can see her and Kaddi bawling in each others arms if they play Light Years. Having that bond of losing a father with them, I know how emotional that song is...esp live. I'll be elated if they get it.

    yep. Same here. I remember how Light Years was significant to my grandma's death, and a few months later, after her death, i got it in Little Rock. That meant so much to me, so I know that feeling, losing someone that you love dearly. :(

    Wow..I don't think I have ever seen them do so many songs for a soundcheck. Almost like they are doing a mini concert in there for someone!! ;-)

    I hope All Those Yesterdays gets played soon so it will be nice and rehearsed by the time they hit the west coast.

    i was with Kat and Lydia for the soundcheck..

    and let me clarify a few things..

    Leash was just about the first 15 seconds or so.. then they scrapped it

    Light Years was instrumental only.. no vocals

    RVM,Gone, Don't Gimme No Lip and WHipping were just a few riffs by ed, not the whole song

    and WHy Go and Jeremy was just Jeff doing some basslines..not the whole song too
