Throw your Hatred Down w/ Neil Young
**thanks to Leilamoonturtle and gndcd402**
This was my first bridge school and it was worth it (all 150 or so dollars to sit in row W).
What a show...where else can you see the acts you see at bridge all in one place for that money. Certainly not where i come from. It was worth every dollar.
Actually met Brian Wilson before the show and had him sign my Bridge poster. He was accomodating and a good sport. His set was great and i'm not even a beach boys enthusiast...made you appreciate the massive catalogue of great american music the man has produced.
PJ was great ala the acoustic interludes they started during canadian tour last year. So what if it wasn't long enough according to some folks or not pj enough for some folks...whatever...still very good. Just to see PJ play w/ Neil on Throw you're hatred down and in the finale on RITFW...priceless.
All the other acts were great...the format gave me the opportunity to listen to/see acts that i normally wouldn't listen to...it's called expanding one's horizons.
And all for a great cause.
Cheerss

PureandEasy wrote:you couldn't be more right Cosmo, watching those video clips and listening to Peggy Young talking about the history of the school and the programs they offer, it really humbles you. And it makes you want to go out and celebrate life and find ways to help others on a day to day basis.
I really enjoyed watching the kids when they would flash to them listening to the music, it was quite touching indeed. That little one with the drum sticks was really getting into it. It was so sweet.
I'm so happy I went, not just because I got to see PJ, or because I got to catch up with great friends who live thousands of miles away, but because it really is a great feeling knowing that there is so much others can do to help those less fortunate and that so many people really care
exactly...right ons

Hey folks,
So I am late to this thread, but I was at the second night of Bridge this year and have finally unearthed some good-quality audio from Trent's amaaaaazing set (to tide you over until Tuesday when we get to see what tracks are offered up on iTunes):
