Ive been reading some of the writings of this artist lately. So I found this person who studies his writings and writes his own poetry books based on his inspiration of Van Gogh. So this guy writing and publishing his own poems inspired by Vincent was mediocre at best. The dude has like 10000 followers on his twitter for utter garbage and making a fortune.

i have become less enamored by Van Gogh insights only by this other man's writings. I hate that. Take something and pervert it not for its original intention. On the other hand, I enjoy Don McClean's Vincent. Its been bothering me so I thought Id share.

Anyway very interesting being he was... Van Gogh :)

Did you happen to see the Doctor Who episode about Vincent? Any thoughts on that?
  • NO! really?

Ill have to check it out.

    I dont watch TV.

thats pretty cool the premise... just read it on wiki
  • Van Gogh as insane as everyone said he was a tortured soul yes, seemingly enamoured with romantic Keats also by his quest of romantic love.

Just ready his letters and stuff nothing very insane about them at all. Although I do find peoples quest for answers as such always delving into the mystical or religious and for some limited or a life similarly devoid of their understanding passion of such truth with an occasional slip into insanity.

Love is part of the creation or creative and expressions of such
    what poets write
    artist paint
    musicians play

whatever. not sure if anyone here really wants to talk about such things...

the dude you speak of who writes his own poetry from getting inspired by vincent van gogh, i understand fully why you feel like you do. i have not read this writers work, however, i am sure he blows. and i'll tell you why. i have read what people call great poetry and i am falling asleep.

main stream whatever they are, sucks ass.

many publishing houses haven't a clue what they publish, what they publish is utter garbage and they do not even know it.

  • I understand his inspiration However, just is shitty poems like a rip off. IDK is just the feeling I get when I read them.

I mean they were quite limp considering how deep Van Gogh was to the point of wistful darkness and the crazies, to but it mildly. Anyway. I always feel the world is a fuckin sellout.
