Conservatives, Liberals, NDP and whoever else has a political party...bottom line their all crooks, the game is rigged and we can't win. How we gonna stop this kind of behavior? Revolt? Probably the only way. The only way any of these parties will listen is if the electorate showed up in Ottawa by the millions and demanded those ridings effected by-elections were held. I don't see that happening though!
ya, with an apathetic electorate, there isn't much hope for any democracy...but that's exactly why we have to maintain some kind of vigilance, and try to get people involved. It is pretty depressing tho...
What has our country become?
Once, I was proud to be a Canadian, Trekking different lands, with a backpack...I loved my country and Canada was well respected wherever I went, 'Canada' really had a good name for itself in the world.
We messed it up big time,
Canada has become part of the 'New World Order' and after G8/G20...Things really changed. I don't like this new Canada.
Our Canadian apathy and hypocrisy contributed, we became 'complacent' somewhere along the line. We kinda let our country get away from us.
We need action,

btw a couple of decent documentaries about the G8/G20 when it was held here a couple years ago. Largest mass arrest in Canadian history. What a wildly sad few day's.
