Playing VERY small venues & only six dates thus far:
3/15 – Austin, TX at Central Presbyterian Church
3/19 – Chicago, IL at Lincoln Hall
3/21 – Washington, DC at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue
3/23 – Brooklyn, NY at Music Hall Of Williamsburg
3/24 – Atlantic City, NJ at Borgata Music Box
3/26 – New York, NY at Bowery Ballroom
3/27 – Boston, MA at Royale
Really hoping to score tix for the Boston show. I don't have too many female artists I listen to, but she has an amazing voice.

Have you listened to Sharon Van Etten? She's in Boston tonight. Another great female vocalist.
I don't think anyone has extras as scalpers probably have them all. Still looking for AC though.
I saw her in 1998 or so...great show, but I thought she kinda disappeared, no?
She hasn't released a new album since 2005, but has a new one slated to come out soon in 2012. She's been performing new stuff.

Never seen her before (kinda wish I saw her at Bowery Ballroom last year) but the Beacon will be awesome too! Anyone going?
She's a very peculiar lady, seemingly quite nervous in between songs, but once she's into the music, whoa. Great musicians around her, Blake was incredible with a few of his songs interspersed through out the set, a good foil to her flights of whimsy. Upright bass player was very good. Drummer also a good fit. Nice little folk rock staging, carpets and kits all around.
I would think that prior to maybe 30-40 years ago she might have had a much more difficult time making her way in this world, I walked outta that show just happy that I live in a culture that allows such a talent to blossom and flourish. Just a gorgeous and passionate performance.
Had seen Neko Case a week or so before, and I really dig her stuff. It was no comparison ... Fiona blew her away.
