2-feign-reluctance, what is the Basecamp leak of the DC '95 show that you mention near the top of this page? Is it still available for download? Thanks for your help. Have a nice day and week.

When I am not listening to the official bootlegs, I am listening to these. They are all absolutely fantastic.

Wasn't there a statement a while (i.e., a year or two) back that a few more were on the way?

Melbourne 95 is phenomenally awesome. But I'm partial to Berlin 96 as my top show of this era.

I love the Melbourne 95 and Berlin 96, I still have the cassettes I recorded them off the radio!!!
  • I agree with those of you that already stated how great this series is and am also curious if more are on the way. I would love to have a few more 96 to 98 shows with this treatment.

About to listen to Melbourne 95 - someone sent me a copy on CD years back, but its not the greatest sounding. I just heard Glorified G on PJ Radio from this show and it sounded incredible! Hoping this one JWB worked on is the same source I just heard.

One of my favorite bootlegs. Have loved this show for years.

It's unlikely there will be any more of these shows as there aren't any others that fit the strict sound quality requirement JWB set for the project (unless some new sources surface). He did however do a remaster of the Self-Pollution sets - did you all see that?

I believe you need a special printer and special CD's to do this. You might have to go to Staples/Kinkos.
  • You need a lightscribe CD burner and lightscribe CD's. You can get the discs colored, but the print will always be black. I will not use sticky labels that you print from your printer and then attach to the CD as that is bad practice for CD players. You take the risk of the label causing the disc to jam in an auto loading player, i.e. a car player, and the added weight of the label is not good on the CD drive.

you need an inkjet printer that has a disc printing tray and cdr's that have an inkjet printable surface, I have an Epson XP-600, and usually order bulk packs of 100 TY cdrs. Made in Japan cdrs are the way to go,

oh, and don't ever use the stomper stickers made by neato and the like, the glue from the sticker effects the disc and ruins the information so it will be unplayable after a couple of years.

yes, that's awesome. I actually had a friend of mine years ago make a cd for me, and he put a sticker label on the top of the cd, and it jammed in my car cd player. and I read that it can also cause balance issues even non-front loading cd players. thanks for all the info guys!
