how does 10c ticket transfer work?

I may need to transfer a couple of tickets, and hear that I can transfer to another 10c member.

Anybody who's done this successfully? Does the person who gets the tickets get my seats, or are the seats based on his or her 10c number?

Also, sounds like 10c doesn't refund $, but the payment is between the two 10c members. Those that have done this: do you send your money on faith, or do you wait until after the show to pay for the tickets?

The tickets are based on YOUR fanclub number, regardless of how good or bad theirs might be.

Money: it's the buyer paying the seller. The 10C has nothing to do with the money. Make the buyer pay you before you transfer the tickets to them. I have friends who have gotten screwed by a buyer who promised payment and never came through after he got the tickets. Buyer pays seller, seller transfers tickets and then forwards the buyer an email from the 10C saying that the transfer has been made. Buyer prints this out and brings this to the show with them.

Just did the same thing myself, except the opposite. I paid a guy for 2 10c tickets that he transfered to me. He sent me the email that 10c sent to him confirming the transfer and presumably all will go well with the pick up the day of the show. I guess it is a bit risky sending someone you don't know money for something you haven't received, but I think most people on here are pretty cool about stuff like that. If you know they're a member then chances are, as the buyer, you are safe. At least that's how I felt.
