Any Coldplay fans? (even though the band annoys me!)

If you saw their Grammy performance, you may have noticed thousands of small lights in the crowd.

They gave out nylon/plastic wristbands that have "Coldplay" and "Mylo Xzlyto" printed on them. These lit up when some sort of radio signal was sent inside the venue (they don't light up now). I got several of them, so please PM me if you want one.

edit: they are free!

edit #2: not trying to get in debates aboout Coldplay...just trying to give the wristbands away!

    *sheepishly raises hand*

PM sent. They are, by far, my favorite wuss-rock band.

Nothing wrong with liking them, they're not that wussy, imo. However, much as I like their music they're simply played to death on our radio stations and tv in this country. They're too commercial for my tastes, though I'd be interested in seeing them live perhaps.

I saw online that they also used those wristbands at the Club Nokia charity gig a few days before the Grammys.

    I'm Coldplay'ed out, but it's a really neat concept.

Yeah, that wuss-rock crack was a joke. I have no problem admitting that I like them. Wait. "Admitting" is the wrong word because I've interrupted conversations where people were talking shit about them to pretty much announce that I'm a fan.

Nothing wrong with being a fan of this band, or "admitting" that you like them. And people who are ignorant about bands talk a lot of shit about them, because they think they know everything about such bands when in fact, they dont. They're one of the most popular bands in the world today, so there must be something good about them. Like I said, although they're too commercial in this country for my liking , I'd certainly consider seeing them live and am thinking of buying my daughter one of their cds, since she likes them.

I love their " A rush of blood to the head album" it's fantastic. Only other album, I have, is "Viva La Vida", and liked it alot. Other than that, I just have heard singles, but love those two albums. Need to dive deeper into the other albums.

  • never got them, but have a lot of friends who are crazy into them
I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!
