  • Neither side came across well when they appeared on WFAN the other day. What MSG failed to realize is that switching providers is not as easy as it seems. You have to move stuff around, clear room for a new cable box plus you might be locked into a contract and if you're in a high rise, that's even tougher.

    I have Directv so it didnt impact me. Just more people coming over to watch Sabres games. This was a huge deal in Buffalo. We get the highest regional NHL TV ratings, and this whole deal pissed everyone off... including the team. The problem is, the team got so bad that the outrage kind of went away.

    It is a matter of time before evil MSG does this to Directv. I will never switch to Time Warner though. I love Directv's service... I would jump to FIOS, but I live on an Island and I dont think it is densely populated enough for Verizon to invest in the infrastructure.
