Let's See if this works out. Just bought Immaigine in Cornice. Brilliant Concert capture and in depth commentary. Any new PJ fan should be given this and PJ20 first.

And release all the footage! I know there's more. Half of PJ20 is footage from Cornice. I want the whole entire clip of Release all by itself instead of interpersed with Eddie explaining his pic of his Dad. Altho that does all go together. It's the reason i bought Cornice. to get a uninterrupted clip of Release.

When Eddie throws you a tambourine, do you get to keep it?

No. You have to throw it back so they can kick the extra point.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

  • Well, that's leaves me out. I never be able to buy the Kids are Twenty. That sold out before anyone knew it was around. Once I found it about it, it was told me it was sold out, never to return.

Have to hunt it in the bins of Half Price Half Books 6 months from now.

    Thanks, Eddie!

What's not to get? You don't kick the extra point after a successful try in your country?

Not true - the deluxe DVD (which the kids are 20 is a part of) sat in the good section for months - until finally the last one sold - then minutes later - people were paying $500 for them on some auction sites.

Good luck finding one of these in any reduced rate bin!

    Cheers

  • Well, i learned about it on a Amazon email. So i wouldn't know that the band site was selling it. I have been broke for four years. Buying PJ20 was the first foray back to life. and I had to do it as cheap as possible.

Is there always writing on the tambourines?

So you've never heard of the Point after Home Run?

You should really get into sports. Eddie likes the game we play with a peach basket. He thinks its rad. No extra points, though. Only fowl (as in chicken) shots. Ummm. Tasty.

When Eddie throws you a tambourine, do you get to keep it?

There is a crew member at the side of the stage tossing Eddie a seemingly endless supply of them. EV tosses one out, the guy tosses him a new one, and so on.... You can tell they are meant for giving away, because you'll often see pieces flying off of them when EV is banging them together, haha. I think there are a lot of people out there with broken, cheap tambourines. :)

When Eddie throws you a tambourine, do you get to keep it?

At the '06 Grand Rapids show, Ed tossed me a tambourine that was slightly smashed which I then proceeded to hand off to my brother to hold for the remainder of the show. Shortly thereafter Ed looked back and noticed my brother holding the tambourine that was tossed to me, and Ed asked my brother if he and I were at the show together and my brother threw him a thumbs up to let him know we were. Before I knew what was going on Ed was standing over us, and my brother quickly handed the smashed tambourine back to me so he could receive a brand new tambourine...but almost as quickly as Ed turned around he turned right back to us and motioned for my brother to throw back the tambourine and Ed proceeded to wipe the sweat off his face with it before tossing it back to my brother.

    Good times,...

    ...
I had one get intercepted in Santa Barbara... Eddie just kind of looked at me and shrugged... and I said, 'No big deal'. I ended up getting one a couple of nights later up in San Francisco. I got it signed after the Hulabaloo gig and it's on my wall, now.
And at the first night in Studio City, he called me down to the stage and tossed me another one. I gave it to the gal I split my Ten/VHC seats with because I already had one and didn't need another.

No. You have to throw it back so they can kick the extra point.

No, they bring in the special "K Tambourines" for that, to ensure that Eddie doesn't cheat. But the K Tambourines are stiff and not broken in, leading to many mistakes.
