    Wow, that is scary.
I used to give choppers that flew overhead when I lived in Downtown LA the finger because it annoyed me that they were out there. Shit if this comes to be you wont even know that someone is spying on you.

It is a revenue stream, plain and simple. Not about protection at all.

If someone found a way for a group to make huge money off drinking the blood of dead people they would market that and make it legal too. Makes me laugh and think of Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal.

Damn, our country is run by a bunch of clowns. BOTH sides of the aisle. Clowns.

Just wait til the DARPA Vulture goes operational. It is a solar powered high altitude, low powered glider that can remain airborne for a 5 year recon sortie at 60-90K (over twice the altitude of your flight from L.A. to New York). That speck you see at the front of a contrail... that is typically a 737 or 767. The Vulture's glide is twice that.

I thought the government couldn't do anything right, now they're going to keep 30,000 drones in the air?

the military industrial complex is an exception to the rule. it's very telling though that this is the post you make. You really don't think the government should be restrained at all, do you?

Not trying to give that impression, just have a different take on it when there's already satellites that can see down your pants and your house can be bugged without a warrant and this has been the case for awhile.

Plus, the link in the OP is pretty kooky and intentionally fear-inducing.

    Two points-

A drone can be very small. Down to ounces. The vast majority of the potential 30k will be very close range, line of sight drones. There is no way that the aviation community will allow unmanned aircraft all over the flight levels.

Second- chemtrails aren't real- stop wasting your time believing in them.

In my years I've found a hint of truth in both rumors and conspiracies ....
    sometimes more than a hint.

My evening sky shows contrails and chemtrails in my opinion ...
one can easily distinguished between the two. Just sit in a hot tub for a couple
    hours ;)

This is an awesome article though I found when researching
the differences awhile back. It focuses on the positive side to contrails,
perhaps may explain the use of drones to produce contrails as well who knows,
certainly not the American people. It also mentions the hazards and side effects.

I have a good friend who totally believes the chemtrail conspiracy theory but I have yet to read a single well researched scientific verification of this theory.

    http://www.contrailscience.com

I'm a regular contributor there. The problem is the site has become so massive that it takes a while to sort through. If you go there with an open mind you'll probably see the science as valid. If you go there convinced that chemtrails exist you probably can't be disuaded.

Bottom line there's just too many problems with the chemtrail conspiracy- no matter why they are created. The believers have thankfully started to back away from the really stupid stuff like population control or some sort of mind control. They have, however, started gravitating toward climate manipulation.

I will check it out ... kind of you

Do you trust those in power not to do any of which you speak?
This the open mind we all should keep.

Me, I don't have to worry about chemtrails ... that would be at the bottom of my list.
Contrails/chemtrails make for a beautiful sunset, those I cherish.

If I was a young reproductive male I might have something to worry about
but no use worrying about the stuff you can't control...

We would be fooling ourselves if we thought we could.

Think of all the new jobs!

Really, it's ridiculous to think this is feasible ... unless there is an iPhone app that let the TMZ generation run the drones.
