As someone who is spending a Valentine's Day alone for the first time in nearly ten years...is there anyone out there who will be "my valentine"? (big puppy dog eyes)

    Second ;)
The thing I like most about time is that it's not real. It's all in the head. Sure, it's a useful trick to use if you want to meet someone at a specific place in the universe and have tea or coffee- but that's all it is- a trick. There is no such thing as the past. It exists only in the memory. There is no such thing as the future. It exists only in our imagination. If our watches were truly accurate, the only thing they would ever say is "Now". That's what time it is. It's "Now". - Damien Echols

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

LOL But you didn't ask me to be your Valentine. I was confused with the mixed messages. :D

PS: you know I'm yours... I've got the B-Day thread to prove it! Thanks Speedy

If you want company, go to a local bar. Not sure about Smallbany but all of the single (25-35 age) guys in my office were fired up tonight to go out and try to find equally disenfranchised young ladies to hook up with. They were sure it would be a good night to be out. Cant wait to listen to their adventures tomorrow!

Yeah they are. Of all of the holidays corporate made or whatever this is one that celebrates the love of a person you chose to be a part of your life. Kind of corny but I'm corny I guess.

I just remembered I still have some Grand Marnier that I bought 2 years ago on V-day for the wife.
