How is one able to spot a bootleg copy of Superunknown? From my understanding boots are solid colors (not a clear orange, or clear blue) but has this changed at any point. I'm looking to buy one but dont want to get stuck with a bootleg. Thanks for any insight.

your best bet is to have a look on discogs at the different pressings... i have a bootleg that is clear with a tinge of brown through it... there is also no matrix numbers on either vinyl. if your looking for an original pressing the covers that have a big orange/yellow sticker (that reads " colored vinyl features the bonus track "she likes surprises" (available on LP only) " on them are usually real in my opinion... then there are the ones with the black stickers (that reads "limited edition coloured vinyl") have a look through ebay listings and you will see that some of the black stickers in the top right are smaller than others... the smaller ones are the fake ones... on top of that there was only ever a black, blue, orange, clear and apparantly a light green pressing, no split coloured sets either ie 1 blue and 1 clear... there is a topic on the soundgarden msg boards under the "knights of the soundtable" heading which may help to.

I really appreciate it. I have Down on the Upside and it has a sticker on the sleve, good to know Superunknown is the say way with the sticker on the sleve and not the plastic wrap. Also, how much is too much for Louder than Love green vinyl? I see it on popsike all over the place.
