  • Cant beat a crisp sandwich.

When i was a kid i used to get a chip dip it in tomato ketchup and then dip it in my milk. Still love the taste of the hot potato and milk mixing. The trouble hates it when i eat it in front of her

crisps in UK = chips in us
chips in UK = fries in us
colour is spelt correctly thank you. As is aluminium. Now that's settled, my wife actually likes marmite. Its Satan's spawn in a jar. And to all needing to know, marmite is a yeast extract. That smells awful, tastes worse and is a by product of brewing beer.... Can you imagine that taste.... Hmmmm

and as crisp sarnies.... Cheese and onion only :-)
  • mmmmmmm salt n vinegar crisp sandwhich :D

    Marmite is amazing 8-)

I've never used them as the main part of the sandwich, but chips make a damn good condiment.

i am afraid that my coronaries might just clog up and quit just looking at it!

    Wiki says ..
Potato chip sandwiches are sometimes referred to as "trailer park cuisine"

    :o

I have never been in a trailer park in my life!

In this area of Scotland this is called a Crisp Piece,we call sandwiches pieces.

Crushed Quavers are the best in a crisp piece or tomato sauce of cheesy puffs but not wotsits, proper cheese puffs :D

I am very fascinated by the food in the UK...I can't wait to go visit and try all these things.

(I suddenly have a craving for Tunnock's Tea Cakes)

Come to Ireland and get some Coddle into you, washed down by some REAL pints of guinness.

tomato sauce doesnt belong anywhere near a crisp piece... your post gave me the dry boak. ;)

Also.. i love Skips in a roll/sandwich... they crush down pretty nice.

when i was growing up a kid who lived near me used to eat lettuce and sugar pieces... :?
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
